My background

Growing up as the fourth child in a family of five, I was profoundly influenced by my father’s career in the U.S. Air Force and my mother’s passion for pediatric nursing. Our frequent relocations allowed me to embrace diverse environments and develop a strong sense of community. After my father’s retirement in 1976, we relocated to the picturesque Crescent Lake cottage in Unity, NH. I completed my studies at St. Mary’s and graduated from Stevens in 1981. At the age of 17, I followed my calling to serve by enlisting in the U.S. Army, ultimately dedicating 38 years to my country and culminating in my retirement as a Master Sergeant. My journey is characterized by commitment, growth, and a dedication to uplifting others.
